Please follow the steps set out on our Claims page.

If you have selected your own repairer (not within our repair locator) you may need to pay the difference between your standard rate and repairer rate. The standard rate is £60 ex VAT per hour on an approved claim.

As stated in your policy Terms and Conditions, we will decline a claim if work has been carried out without prior authority. Please ensure that the garage contacts us for before any work is carried out on the vehicle or have a formal estimate sent to ukclaims@opteven.com.

Reimbursement is made once the repair is complete. The final invoice and relevant bank details should be sent to UKClaimsinvoices@opteven.com or submitted by the repairing garage via the online portal. Funds typically reach the account within 7-10 working days.

Please refer to the cancellation Terms and Conditions set out in your warranty documentation.

It is preferable to use one of our listed repairers. These garages work in conjunction with us and use our online portal for a quicker decision.

It is possible to use your own repairer if you cannot find a local listed repairer. Please note that the repairer must be willing to contact Opteven directly after the diagnosis of the failure has been identified. Please check your policy to see if diagnosis costs are included as part of an authorised claim.

We will review the claim within one hour of it being registered by the garage using our online portal. We aim to review estimates emailed to us at UKClaims@opteven.com by the within 48 hours.

We will contact you 1 month before your warranty expires. Depending on your marketing preferences, you will either have the ability to extend directly online or contact our support team on 0203 787 9204.

Our product allows you to have a 1-year policy with the benefit of a 12-monthly instalment plan which is interest free.

Due to the term only being 12-months, this is not a credit agreement and therefore no credit check is applicable.

Whilst some providers charge an admin fee, we do not charge a fee for this update.

We make car repairs affordable and do not charge an excess with our warranty products when making a claim.

Claim limit refers to the total cost of an approved claim which we will pay out on.

Current Market Value, this is the trade value of your car. The CMV is capped at £20,000 on your policy.

With the rise in costs of repair and material, it is important to factor this into account when selecting your claim limit before renewal. You will need to pay the different if the claim limit is lower than the approved claim.

Our warranty does not cover vehicles for those purposes.
